#GO423

This two-day symposium event will return for the third year in 2014 after the success of the 2013 Symposium Space to Place and the 2012 Symposium Foreplay to Freeplay.  We have chosen the theme: ROUTES inspired by the lines from the Frost poem – the road less travelled – because it sums up the spirit of our game making community who take the road less travelled, who adventure into terrain unknown and often insecure in order to make the wonderful things we call games …. Routes is about how we have travelled to be here, it is also about where we might travel to – where we are going and routes we might take from here.

Guest speakers, panel discussions, workshops, test and play opportunities, an open-mic session and much more will feature during the Symposium weekend. The event has proved a valuable opportunity for networking amongst the gaming community and an important opportunity to show case work being developed in Brisbane and Queensland.

Meet some of our wonderful speakers

Come and play:

Eventbrite registration: http://go423-symposium-routes.eventbrite.com.au

We will have a dedicated public exhibition space all day Sunday 10th at the symposium venue and particularly welcome works in progress as well as finished works – FREE PUBLIC EVENT

Please note: Sunday workshop capacities limited – first in best dressed. All age group workshops have their own registration pages – see program

The GO423 symposium is about sector building and sustainability of the Australian Game making industry through strengthening community networks and awareness, fostering recognition of our wonderful game makers.
